De nieuwste hit van Bethesda, Starfield, heeft een belangrijke mijlpaal bereikt met meer dan 13 miljoen spelers. Spelers hebben collectief meer dan 22 miljoen dagen in het spel doorgebracht. Bethesda belooft regelmatige updates, circa elke zes weken vanaf februari, die de spelervaring verder zullen verbeteren. Dit zullen verbeteringen zijn die kwaliteit van leven in de game betreffen alsook nieuwe inhoudelijke updates en features. Er komt ook meer aanpassingsmogelijkheid voor schepen en er zijn nieuwe survivalmechanica op komst. Bovendien wordt officiële mod-ondersteuning voorzien met een nieuw Creation Kit begin volgend jaar. De eerste grote uitbreiding van het spel, Shattered Space, die nog meer verhaal, locaties en uitrusting zal toevoegen, wordt ook verwacht in 2024.
